As you go backstage again you see Paul Knight on his cell again. Knight is not his normal self as he is yelling at the top of his lungs.
Paul Knight: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN SCOTT STEVENS CONTRACT IS NOT FINALIZED?”
A brief pause from Paul who is just shaking his head.
Paul Knight: “This is completely unacceptable. Wallace promised me Stevens on a silver platter. He guaranteed me Scott would be at this Uprising. That no good son of a-”
The person on the other end of the line stops Paul mid sentence.
Paul Knight: “Fine if that is what he wants. I’ll reach back out to Mister Stevens at the end of August.”
Knight hangs up his cell phone and throws it on the couch. As his door opens and you see a blonde beauty standing in the doorway. Paul has his hands over his eyes and seems like he is about to go off.
Paul Knight: “MOTHER FU-”
Knight removes his hands from his eyes and notices who is standing at the door.
Paul Knight: “Psyche Devyne - so glad you could make it tonight.”
Devyne approaches Knight and takes a seat on the couch as you go back to Fuchs and Davis at ringside.
Davis: “I guess when one door closes another one opens. Psyche Devyne is in the building.”
Fuchs: “I hope Devyne signs a contract tonight as she would be a great ASSet to Uprising.”
Davis: “You had to put the emphasis on that word didn’t you.”
Fuchs: “I have no idea what you are talking about.”
As the logo for Adrenaline comes across the screen for the viewing audience at home. |
