Illiya was rubbing a towel against her hair, attempting to dry it somewhat.  Illiya: “So… are you ready to get back to things this week? After the last show and the attack…” Ezrynn wiped leftover chocolate from her face and sat on the bed, watching her sister.  Ezrynn: “Yeah. I’m just looking forward to taking out some of my frustrations. First we get cheated out of a chance at the titles… then we get taken out before a match? What’s next… someone tries to break our legs? Are we in the mafia?” She pauses, looking around. Ezrynn: “Holy shit… was it the mafia the whole time?!” Illiya: “No, no. Just cheaters, Ez. People trying to cut out the competition. We’re obviously seen as a threat. People tend to like us. Some may take our popularity as something negative. Maybe a slight to them? Who knows.” Ezrynn: “Or… you know… the legos.” Illiya: “Yeah, probably the legos.” Illiya sat beside her sister on the bed.  Illiya: “We’ve got a lot of prepping to do before this weekend.” Ezrynn: “I agree. I already booked us a slot at the gym.” Illiya looked stunned.  Illiya: “What??” Ezrynn shrugged. Ezrynn: “Yeah. Thought we should get a good bit of working out in before the weekend so we don’t get all gross. Deal?” Illiya: “Very much a deal. I like this new you.” She smiled and slapped her sister on the back. She stood up and walked away to get changed, leaving Ez to do the same. - - - - - “Twins will almost always have the best connections in the ring. When you have two humans growing together from the moment they are conceived, you are bound to have a connection. That’s why I always see myself and Ezrynn having an advantage against our opponents. The disadvantage in this would be coming in as one of the first teams… that means you need to beat all four teams in order to advance. But if you’re the last team, you’re going up against a potentially extremely tired team, which you now have advantage over. For some, this would be an extremely difficult match. But I have confidence in myself and Ezrynn. Even if we’re first in the ring, we will do everything we can to stay as the last in the ring. We’re determined to win. We’re determined to get our hands on those titles. And we’re determined to do it fair. We won’t run off and complain. We won’t cheat our way to the end. We won’t make a fuss and cry. Just know… even if we don’t come out winners in this match, we’re still going after whoever holds the title. We will continue to go after the titles until we have them in our hands.
