Thursday November 26, 2015 4:30pm“Babe, please! I just want to go early to watch the chaos!”Bryan Williams is standing in front of Psyche Devyne, pleading with her. She had her arms crossed over her chest, her head tilted to the side. She raised a brow at him.Psyche: “But WHY do you want to go? I don’t understand what this whole thing is about.”Bryan: “Babe… It’s Black Friday. Best deals ever. We could get a massive TV for the bedroom.”Psyche: “So we can watch life sized porn?”Bryan shrugged.Bryan: “If you feel so inclined.”Psyche: “I’ve seen the videos online… how anyone could possibly get out of there without breaking the actual things they purchase is beyond me. A telly? Even harder. You tilt it the wrong way and it is broken.”Bryan: “I just want to see it up close and personal. And I want you to be there. Please???”Psyche let out a deep sigh, frowning.Psyche: “Fine. But you owe big time. If I want something really expensive, you’re buying it. Even if it isn’t on sale.”Bryan smiled and gave her a bear hug.Bryan: “As long as it isn’t anything weird, we’re okay.” Thursday November 26, 2015 11:54amBryan and Psyche are standing in a lineup for some generic store of Bryan’s choosing, pretty far back but still close enough to be in the first couple hundred or so. This was Bryans fault, as he wanted to be there quite early. They had already been there for a while. The store was set to open in 6 minutes. Psyche sighed, looking around at the people in line with her. Everyone was getting ready to make a run for it.At three minutes, people were starting to push forward, hoping to get in quicker. Somehow, they moved closer in the line, as if people were piling closer to the doors. Psyche was pushed from behind. She turned her head, shooting the person a look. The guy behind her shrugged his shoulders and looked ahead, watching. She rolled her eyes and turned back to face Bryan.Psyche: “I fucking hate this already.”Bryan looked at his girlfriend, laughing.Bryan: “We haven’t even gone inside yet.”Psyche: “I’m already getting pushed by people.”Bryan: “Push them back. You’re a wrestler.”She glared at him. She didn’t want to be rude to other people, but if someone got out of hand, she’d kick their ass.Bryan: “Besides… I brought my gear with me. If anything bad goes down, I can help out.”Psyche: “I swear… if you start fighting people, I’ll hurt you worse.”Bryan frowned, nodding. He knew she could claw out his eyes if she wanted. The line started to move as the sound of grinding metal was heard. They were opening the metal gate in front of the store. People started to pile inside, trampling each other to get to where they wanted. They could see what was happening from where they were in line. Bryan grabbed at Psyches hand, holding her close to him. The line started pushing more, causing the couple to run towards the opening. As they got inside, they could see the carnage already caused. So much was destroyed. There was a woman crying off to the side, having been trampled or something of that nature. A worker was comforting her, trying to calm her. Psyche frowned, already not enjoying this whole thing. Bryan pulled her along to an area crawling with people grabbing random shit. A man falls to the ground at their feet, holding a damaged box. He gets up quickly, a huge smile on his face, as if he was pleased with himself. The item was probably broken. Psyche looks at Bryan, who is watching everything with a smile.Psyche: “This is bloody ridiculous. These people are acting like bloody animals. We don’t do things like this in England.”She watched the horror unfolding in front of her. A moment later, a scream is heard. Both Psyche and Bryan turned towards the noise, seeing one woman storming towards another. The angry woman, taller than the other, had dark red hair. She was wearing a bright red tracksuit that looked two sizes too big. Her hair was matted and she was missing a few teeth. Her makeup was badly drawn on, making her look like complete trailer trash.Psyche: “Is that…? Is that Amber Ryan? No… No it definitely isn’t.”She looked to the other woman. She had long brown hair, curled perfectly as if she had just fixed it before coming out for Black Friday events. Her makeup was caked on, making her look more fake than her boobs. She wore a low cut tank top and a black mini skirt along with a pair of heels. Because dressing stupid is obviously smart. She is looking around the place, confused about where she is. She doesn’t quite get what is going on. She’s definitely in over her head, here.Psyche: “Claire…? No… They wouldn’t be here…”The Amber look alike was quickly walking towards the other. The brown haired one is still rather confused by the whole thing. The red tracksuit pushes the other at the shoulders, shoving her into a rack. The look of shock on the womans face is perfect. She doesn’t quite understand why is being attacked by a redneck. The redhead points down at a box that the other is holding, angrily staring at her.Redhead: “That’s my box, you bitch!”Brownhead: “But… I got it first!”Redhead: “Well I saw it first. It’s mine. My eyes claimed it!”Brownhead: “I literally got it first. I don’t understand.”Redhead: “Give it here!”She went for the box, grabbing hold of the top while the Claire looking one held the bottom. They struggled with each other, each trying to keep the box. Psyche turned to look at Bryan. She pointed her arm at the two fighting women.Psyche: “See that, Bryan? This is pathetic. Two women fighting over a bloody box. A box with a bloody iron in it. This is what is wrong with the world.”Bryan: “They look eerily similar to people we know…”Psyche: “I know... That redheaded bird looks like Amber Ryan. Look at her picking a fight and sticking herself into things she doesn’t belong in. The other clearly got the box first, but like Amber in real life, she inserted herself into the situation, pretending like she owns everything in the world. Like the bloody Unstable, too. And look how trashy she looks in that stupid tracksuit. Like a bleeding chav.”The women continue to fight. The redhead goes punch the woman in the head.Psyche: “Now that was just uncalled for. Is she mad? It’s an iron!”Bryan: “Ooh! The other just scratched at the Amber ones eyes!”Psyche shook her head, watching the action.Psyche: "That other one looks like Claire, right?”Bryan: “Yea… I could see that.”Psyche: “That woman is so ditsy. As if she’s looking through the world through heart shaped glasses.”Bryan: “Claire or this woman?”Psyche: “Well… both. But Claire, I guess. It’s like the only thing that actually makes her worth anything is her relationship. It’s like she’s blind to all the negativity around her, which I guess could be a good thing for her. But she doesn’t realize just how boring she really is, I don’t think. ‘I’d like to go work out today’, ‘I want to see Lex later’, ‘What should we do today, Lex?’, ‘What should I eat?’. It is an endless amount of boring with her. She’s a lovely girl and can fight pretty well, but I don’t think that’s enough. How does she expect to be a champion without actually being entertaining? What kind of a champion would she be? She’s just another generic female wrestler. That’s not champion material, I don’t think.”The two women continue to try and keep the box from the other. Bryan and Psyche watch a bit longer. The redhead finally takes the box from the brown haired woman, holding it up like she has been victorious.Psyche: “Looks like the stubbornness of the real Amber is showing in this fake one. But that’s the thing with Amber. That’s her weakness. She’s TOO stubborn. She doesn’t know when to step back. Plus… she’s damaged goods. What could she possibly accomplish while being held back by a previous injury? Angel, no. Distorted… very much. She’s fake. She’s misleading. She’s grotesque. All different versions of the word. And she is the epitome of each.”As she says the last word, the brown haired one gets a bit of courage and tackles the other woman to the ground. Psyche rolls her eyes and turns away, starting to leave. Bryan follows after her.Bryan: “Hey… let’s head over to the kids department. Maybe something funny will happen there ?.”He grabbed her hand again, pulling her behind him. The first man they see is in an aisle with Star Wars toys. Psyche’s eyebrows furrow, looking closer at him.Psyche: “That guy definitely looks like Zybala…”Bryan: “He does, doesn’t he? And a huge dork looking for Star Wars action figures.”It was definitely not him, but he certainly reminded her of him. She watched as he excitedly looked through the figures, trying to find the right one.Psyche: “Speaking of Zybala, since this would probably be something he would be doing, I just don’t know how I feel about him. He has all these good intentions and wants to be the best there is… but he’s just… not there anymore. He’s not at that level anymore. He’s a man-child that can’t grow up. Like Peter Pan but without the other children to make him seem rapey. He was a champ once, yes. But that was long ago. I think he just needs to let it go. Either that or he needs to step it up and get better.”She shakes her head at the man, now turning her direction to two large families close to each other. On the one side is a dark haired man with his entire family running around, screaming their heads off and throwing things to the ground. The man, who looks a lot like Sean Fuller, has a blank look on his face, as if he is slowly dying on the inside. A man who is a complete doppelganger of Baxter, with an almost bald head, heads the other family. His family is extremely well behaved, as if he has cracked the whip a few times to get them to stay in line. The bald one glares at the other, trying to figure out why the children were running around. He pipes up.Bald: “HEY! HEY BUDDY! COULD YOU WATCH YOUR GODDAMN CHILDREN?”The dark haired one looks at him, confused. He was like a zombie, in a way. Slow movements and even slower response time. He turns his head to his kids for a moment, looking at them, then back to the other man.Dark Hair: “I looked at them for a moment there… was that good enough for you?”He was giving the bald man a bit of sass.Bald: “I SAID WATCH YOUR KIDS! THEY’RE MAKING A HUGE MESS!”Dark Hair: “Why are you yelling like that? You’re scaring your own children.”His children look a bit frightened. But this was pretty normal to them at the same time. The Baxter look alike shakes his head, moving closer to the dark haired Fuller one.Bald: “I SAID… WATCH YOUR GODDAMN KIDS!”The kids were completely ignoring what was happening, still throwing things on the ground and causing a general nuisance. The bald man got angrier and pushed the other man to the ground. The Fuller one got back up and did the same back, but didn’t get enough of a push in to make the other man do anything more than stumble a bit. The two broke into a full on brawl, fighting over how bad these children were. Psyche shakes her head at the scene. This was just like the two men these two men she was watching would act like.Psyche: “Just like Baxter, the bald one snaps incredibly easily. It’s unfortunate for him. Such a major downfall. You snap that easily and it causes you to lose focus and lose your match. Like a bull in a bloody china shop. My specialty is making people like him snap and get frustrated. When you’re frustrated, you’re sloppy. And that’s the best way to win a match over someone like that. Use his worst flaw against him. And that’s probably not hard to do.”She laughed, watching the whole fight going on. This was interesting now, to say the least. She now focused on the one who looked like Fuller. He was being demolished at the moment by the bald one, crying out in pain.Psyche: “That’s cute… the Fuller one is crying in pain. Interestingly, I feel as if this wouldn’t be any different from the real Sean Fuller. Impervious to pain? Oh love… you clearly don’t know of pain. Or maybe you’re just a good actor and inside you are crying like a little child. Plus his sister is a little twat that got the best of me during a rough time. I doubt anyone from the Fuller family will do that to me again. Especially not one that plays with a bloody LARP stick.”She rolled her eyes once again, turning away.Psyche: “Can we leave now, Bryan?”Bryan: “No. There’s still so much to see! I want to see someone fall into a display and break it!”Behind them, the Fuller one finally gets the upper hand and throws the bald one into a display, smashing it to pieces. Too bad Psyche and Bryan missed it.Bryan: “Please? Just a little longer. Plus I have to look for that TV. I hope there is still something left.”Psyche: “Doubtful, love. TV’s are always gone the quickest. Especially at good prices.”Bryan: “Well I also owe you a present. So we’ll search for that too.”Psyche shrugged her shoulders.Psyche: “Fine.”Bryan: “So we can stay?”Psyche nodded at him.Psyche: “Yes… we can stay a little while longer. Let’s go over to the clothing, shall we?”Bryan nodded, following his girlfriend to the next stop.To be continued… |
