Psyche Devyne has had quite the eventful beginning to her contract with BCW. First, nobody would talk to her at the show. So she took it upon herself to talk to the workers that helped with the show set up. Talking to them lead to her trying to impersonate random people. She threw out some pretty good celebrity impersonations, mostly those with an English accent like hers. When she did her impersonation of Mila Kuniz in an American accent, they seemed to enjoy it. So they asked her for more. And more. And more. And that's when she did Kat Jones. What she didn't realize was that the group she was talking to weren't the only ones watching. A camera was put on her and taped her throwing on an accent and mocking Kat Jones. Accidentally, of course... but it happened. She was just trying to be entertaining. Is that so wrong? Kat probably thinks so. Psyche was sure Kat was ready to have her head on a platter. And things were going so well.
Now Psyche has a match coming up. This match is against two dudes. Not that that is an issue. She just thought it was pretty funny that she would be thrown into a match with two guys against her. So Psyche decided to make a kind of promo. She wasn't sure how to do this type of thing in the right way, so she tried to figure out how to do it the best she could. She was going to throw herself in a dark room and just stand there and talk. That's how most of these people did it, right? Well... let's get to it.
Psyche stood in a dark room, as stated, and had a camera on her. She was dressed in a rather tight yellow dress with civil war-esque buckles all down the front. Her shoes looked as if they belonged in the same time period but with a heel. Her hair was tied into two pigtails. She was kind of pacing, trying to figure out her words. She looked up at the camera for a moment, confusion on her face.
Psyche Devyne: "Oh... are we on?"
The camera kind of moved up and down as if a nod was being made. Psyche let out a bit of a gasp and stood up straight, facing the camera. She mocked straightening out her dress, since there was nothing to straighten. It was form fitting. She smiled sweetly at the camera, showing off her beautiful white teeth. English doesn't always mean dodgy teeth, everyone.
Psyche Devyne: "Hello, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Psyche Devyne. And I'm here to talk to you today about my match."
She moved her attention from the camera lens to something behind it, likely the camera man.
Psyche Devyne: "That's normally how these things go, right?"
No response. She shrugged and looked a bit unsure of herself, continuing anyways.
Psyche Devyne: "Yes. Well. I have a match next week against.... Vance Morgan.. and.. Erron Wilder.."
She was reading the names off of her hand.
Psyche Devyne: "Oh Erron! I know that guy! We kinda talked on Twitter..."
She was smiling now, happy she knew who she was up against.
Psyche Devyne: "Now I don't really know Erron on a personal level, as I haven't really met him, I don't think... No I haven't at all. Just seen him once training with Kat. But from our few conversation type things on twitter, he seems cool, I guess. Maybe I shouldn't compliment him. He's my opponent. Yes. Erron seems like he's kind of a loose cannon, I guess. Like he kind of does what he wants and doesn't follow rules. The match could be pretty difficult with him around. He's apparently a biter. So that has me slightly worried, but there are ways to avoid that."
She smiled a genuine smile.
Psyche Devyne: "Now this match could go multiple ways. I could either have both of these guys attack me at the same time and try and pin me as a tag team, or they'll be too scared to fight me since I'm a girl. If the former is how it goes, I'd like you two to please note that I am rather agile and can snake out of tiny spaces. Plus.. I'm kinda fast, so good luck catching me. If it is the latter, then I have a huge advantage of letting them tire themselves out and pin one of them while their down. But there's still one other way this could go... I could just as easily fight these two and get the win. I mean, really... I'm strong. I may not look it, but I can take a man. And I can beat him. I'd rather prove my worth than take the pussy way out and steal the win from a tired guy. So... just watch out, boys. Cause I am going to bring everything I've got with me to that match. And hopefully I'll come out the winner."
She gives the camera a cheeky grin and continues.
Psyche Devyne: "I've talked a bit about Erron, but nothing about Vance. Simply because I know nothing of him and haven't heard from him. So as most people seem to do in a wrestling promo, I'll say this: I'm going to beat you and you suck and stuff. And Erron... just note... I'm not scared of you, love. You act all tough on Twitter and pretend to be this scary guy... but I know deep down you're a terrible sweetheart. I can tell. This is all a facade. I can't wait till you come out as 'face'. I picture you in a pink fuzzy cat sweater... and it is glorious. Can't wait, love! See you soon!"
She waves her hand up at the camera, saying bye. She was signalling her end. She turned around and left the room.
Psyche Devyne: "That went pretty well, I think..."
The camera instinctively panned down to her bum as she left. Her butt looked pretty sweet in that tight dress... just saying. And once she was gone, the feed faded to black.
