A budding relationship. The beginning of what was meant to be the perfect joining of two people. But as we all know... it never ends the way we'd like it. Something goes wrong. Someone veers off. Or both do. Either way, like most relationships, this one was bound to go downhill. Even before the first kiss... This.. is that decline.

Haven Van Slyke and Bryan Williams are in the crappy clothing store he was working in before the last opening of W2K. Haven was there to convince him to come home. 

Haven Van Slyke: "Mr. Williams, I have a proposition for you that I feel you shouldn't refuse."

Bryan Williams: "Oh yeah? What's that?"

Haven Van Slyke: "I propose that you come back to Wrestling 2000...."

And he accepted. That's where it all began...

Haven Van Slyke: "I just wanted to say how proud I am of you... Pleasantly surprised by everything that's gone on so far. I'm pleased to see you do so well, Mr. Williams."

Bryan Williams: "Proud? That's a bit surprising, coming from you."

Haven Van Slyke: "I just appreciate you doing the best you can do. It helps us both. You're loved and I can ensure that the person I put my time into does well. And without help. Works well for me."

Bryan Williams: "I guess I owe you at least that..."

Haven Van Slyke: "To be honest... you don't owe me much of anything. At the time, I was just doing my job."

Bryan Williams: "At the time?"

Haven Van Slyke: "Well yes... I was unsure of your potential when we met. Now I'm more and more impressed. You're getting better, Mr. Williams..."

Bryan Williams: "You know... you could call me Bryan..."

Bryan Williams: "Wow. I really can't picture you as a crazy girl. It's weird. I'm so used to you being all business. And you are fun, Haven. I like being around you."

Haven Van Slyke: "Well thank you, Mr. Wi-... Bryan..."

After telling Bryan about her life story and his acceptance of it, it hit her. Haven was really getting into this guy.

Then... after all of the stress she had been going through, picking up the pieces of Hamid's company and taking over, the two became closer. Haven was finding things more and more difficult and Bryan was her solace. He would save her from herself.

Haven Van Slyke: "I can't... I'm sorry, Bryan."

Bryan Grabs her arm.

Haven Van Slyke: "Bryan... don't."

Bryan pushes forward, and presses his lips onto hers. The two embrace passionately, both are weak to each other.

But this wasn't everything. Haven and Bryan had a relationship that Haven couldn't deal with. She couldn't let herself go too far for fear that she'd snap. So they stayed close until she was ready. But every time they tried, she had a feeling looming over her. Like something was going to take over if she went too far. She kept stopping it. Leaving Bryan without explaining herself. It was all she could do. She had to protect him. And this was the only way she could do it. 

And she protected him a lot. More than needed. Enough to get her into a lot of trouble. Enough to make one man angry enough to kill her and make Bryan himself bring out what she was trying to keep inside. The demon she suppressed with the help of one man. The demon that assisted her in bribing and using men. There were so many. It lead to the end of a season of W2K. One man pushed it far back into her mind. And when he left, she promised herself she'd never let it back out... but Bryan found the key and set it free.

Bryan Williams: "I need you to go back to what you used to do.. for me."

Haven Van Slyke: "I can't.... I've tried so hard to keep that demon at bay.... To try and stop it."

Bryan Williams: "No... no.... set it free..."

Haven Van Slyke: "Bryan please... I can't do that... I can't..."

She was hurt by this. Hurt that he wanted it. It kept coming back in short bursts. A quick flash here and there. But this time it stayed. He freed it. Because he wanted it.

And that was when Ash came further into the picture. He wanted to punish her for interfering in a match between Bryan and Ash. But Haven had other plans. Back to herself, she went on to blackmail him. Just like Bryan wanted. And soon, Haven't demon went for Ash. But Haven was still in love with Bryan. Hoping he'd help her push it back. Until he lost to Ryan Cain...

Bryan Williams: "I was shown just who exactly were my friends, and who was playing me the whole time. Haven Van Slyke, she's no friend of mine. She saw an opportunity to make some money, and plucked me out of nothing. She thought I would play the role, and then just roll over and die. Congrats Haven, You made your money. And you screwed over a few people in the process. You're crazier than I thought. I found out about your past, I know the things you used to do. I know about the little arrangement you've got with Ash."

Bryan told the world Haven's business. Everything she tried to hide, the world knew now. Funny thing was... Bryan never told the world it was him that made her make the arrangement. He was mad. He was harsh. And it brought out the worst in Haven.

Haven Van Slyke: "You were the one that told me to do what I did. I tried so hard to stop. You brought it back. Has that conversation completely slipped your mind? You made me look like a fool out there.... I don't know what I'm going to do now. I have to fix all of this."

Bryan Williams: "Don't bullshit me, Haven. I had nothing to do with your whoring around. Maybe it was a figment of your imagination. Maybe you not putting out for so long was all a ploy.."

The change.

Haven Van Slyke: "Fuck you..."

Bryan Williams: "Has the real Haven come out? I've already banged you. I really should have waited for this Haven."

Haven Van Slyke: "You, Mr. Williams, are scum. Hav-... I did everything I could for you. I brought you from that shithole of a job you had and tried to make you a star. And you are spitting in he-... my face... I don't appreciate that. I gave you everything I had. I have you myself. And you're throwing it all out."

Bryan Williams: "You've done nothing for me, Haven! Nothing!"

Haven Van Slyke: "Get the FUCK out of my office, Mr. Williams..."

Bryan Williams: "Fuck this and fuck you. I don't need you."

Haven broke down after that. The demon had taken over and she had no control. Bryan had left her alone. But Bryan was drunk. Bryan didn't even remember what he had done. Sadly... by that point, Bryan was dealing with a demon. No amount of pleading and apologizing would stop a demon on a mission. 

That mission now involved Ash. And the two got very close. Close enough that the deal they made was no longer a deal but a relationship between Haven's other half and a man that formerly wanted her head. But the Haven inside, the Haven that was now pushed to the back of her own mind, she was still in love with Bryan. She still wanted it to work. She wanted to regain control. A conflict with herself in the mirror was her only chance.

Haven Van Slyke: "You ruined everything. Everything I wanted. Everything is gone."

Haven Van Slyke: "Everything is still here. All the things you wanted. Well... not all of them..."

Haven Van Slyke: "You took him from me. You stole the one thing that reminded me of 'HIM'... The one person that could make me forget him.."

Haven Van Slyke: "He was nothing. He was using you. Like Mr. Williams. I could see his lies. He was putting on a show. Pretending. You never saw it. Now look at Trey. He thinks you're falling for him. But it's all me. He's falling for me and I'm letting him. Because he's strong. He can take Mr. Williams down..."

Haven Van Slyke: "Don't let that happen. Don't let him have Bryan... please..."

Haven Van Slyke: "Mr. Williams just wanted to get further in the company. You were a pawn. You were being used. You were NOTHING to him...."

Haven Van Slyke: "NO!"

And Haven got herself back... or so she thought. It didn't last long. W2k closed down and the demon had control once again. Haven and Ash continued with each other. The two made it to Cabo. It was fun for a while, but the demon got bored. Bored of not having anyones face to rub the whole thing into. She stopped caring. Got sloppy. Got too used to being in control. It never noticed Haven getting stronger. She found the key once more. And this time, she'd keep the demon at bay, no matter what. When the time was right, Haven took control and locked away everything that was set free. She went home with Ash and finally told him that she was leaving. That this was wrong and she couldn't do it anymore. She explained what happened and who he was dealing with. And that she was still in love with the man that had accidentally broke her heart. Luckily, Ash understood. Once Haven got herself back, the spark kind of disappeared. He saw it. He was having more fun with other women than with Haven. Luckily it worked out for the best.

Now the only problem was finding a way to get back to Bryan. Finding a way to explain everything that happened. Apologize for the things she had done when her mind wasn't in her own control. At this point, it was merely her waiting to find out if he'd have her back. But she just didn't know how to do it...
